New generic Top-Level Domains for a use in French

Some new gTLD have a strong French connotation, even if the new gTLD application was submitted for a use in English or another language. A new domain names ending in “.expert”, ".audio" or ".education" (instead of “.com” for example) is the same in English and in French. This post reports on new domain name extension registration volumes related to TLDs with a French connotation. To find figures from 2016, go down the table and click on "2016".
